1. Xiaomi

Xiaomi is currently the biggest smartphone brand in India. They have captured more than 30% of the Indian smartphone market. Xiaomi’s market share was growing by 6% every year. They are dominating both the mid-range and budget smartphone segment.

Almost every device of Xiaomi is priced below Rs. 20000. Redmi K20 Series was priced at around Rs. 30,000. These devices were also successful as Xiaomi has already established their brand. Xiaomi is also currently the biggest smartphone company in China.

They are also selling televisions and other accessories in India. Xiaomi is also trying to enter the laptop segment in India. They have recently launched their Mi Notebook 14 in India.

3. Vivo 

Vivo was founded in 2009 and they are now selling their smartphones in more than 100 countries. Vivo has recently surpassed Samsung to become the second-largest smartphone brand in India. They have captured more than 17% of the smartphone market.

However, their market share has actually fallen down from 21% to 17%. Vivo mostly launches smartphone in Rs. 20000-25000 price range. These devices are famous for their design and cameras. They are also the sponsors of the IPL tournament. Vivo also does very aggressive advertising like Oppo.

4. Oneplus 

Oneplus is a subsidiary of BBK Electronics. In fact, BBK Electronics is the parent company of One Plus, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo. One Plus is currently ruling the premium smartphone market in India. They have captured 33% of the Indian premium smartphone market.

One Plus mainly focuses on creating premium quality smartphones. These smartphones can cost up to Rs. 50,000. Still, these devices are cheaper when compared to the flagship devices of Apple and Samsung. The company has recently launched its Oneplus 8 Series in India.

5. Realme
